The Tapados is a Corona Extra format, measuring 120mm in length with a 46 ring gauge. They were released in 2015 and are offered in quantities of 16 inside a contemporary metal tin.

They are beautifully hand rolled in a Colorado wrapper, filled with the finest Cuban long filler tobaccos, then finished with the new modern Vegueros branded band that features a bold green, black and silver design.

The Tapados begins with earthy aromas of grains and cedar, the cold draw offers more complexity with notes of vanilla and cashew. Once lit the notes of vanilla and cedar come through initially, with touches of floral and pepper coming in towards the second third.

The strength is initially mild but reaches a medium quickly, the body is consistently medium for the duration. The final section is spice dominant and the finish is long and smooth.

You can expect to enjoy this smoke for around 60 minutes, and would make a great pairing to a full bodied lager or a glass of Malbec.
